Dec 9 – Oh Yeah! Nude Aid

November 12, 2007 at 9:00 pm (general)

I’ll be tying some lovely models at Nude Aid ’08, hosted by world famous sex educators Nina Hartley and Sharon Mitchell. Held on Dec 9 from 5-9PM, Nude Aid is a benefit for the Center for Sex and Culture, and it basically consists of going to a bar, looking at hot naked people, and making or buying art. Can you think of anything better to do on a Sunday afternoon? I didn’t think so.

San Francisco (November 12): The Center for Sex & Culture invites the over-21 public to its annual holiday benefit party, Nude Aid. Held this year at the Design District’s beautiful club Mighty, Nude Aid will be hosted by “America’s porn sweetheart” Nina Hartley, beloved adult industry veteran and health advocate Dr. Sharon Mitchell, and sexologist Carol Queen. Here’s how the Nude Aid art-making and takeaway event works: Admission to Nude Aid is $20-40 (sliding scale). This admission entitles each guest to experience a spectacular erotic tableau vivant as artists make art, live, with live nearly-nude and fetish-clad models to inspire them. Each guest can choose a piece of art to take home, and may purchase additional tickets (also $20-40) to trade for additional paintings, drawings, photos, sculptures, collages, or body prints. Guests can also cover holiday shopping needs by purchasing more art and desirables from Nude Aid’s silent auction. Mighty’s cash bar will be open, “whores d’oeuvres” served, DJs will spin, and occasional stage performances will liven the event. Nude Aid will take place on Sunday, December 9th. Doors open at 5:00 pm and close at 8:00; the event will end at 9:00.

Last year’s Nude Aid was the Center for Sex & Culture’s single most successful benefit, raising close to $10,000 for the non-profit. Donors, models, artists and special guests from Nude Aid 2007 included Leonard Nimoy, Annie Sprinkle, Candye Kane, Charles Gatewood, Nina Hartley, Eric Kroll, Sharon Mitchell, Candida Royalle, Winston Smith, Jonathan Solo, Scarlot Harlot, Ruby Pearl, Madison Young, Jennifer Blowdryer, Isis Starr, Melissa Gira, Gloria Leonard, David Steinberg, Matt Sachs, and many more. Nude Aid’s 2008 full lineup will be announced soon; for a frequently-updated listing of artists, donors, performers and other participants please see

Nude Aid was developed by Annie Sprinkle. The Center for Sex & Culture is grateful for her permission to use her concept and the title for its benefit. Nude Aid is again being produced by erotic writer and burlesque performer Lady Monster, who has just returned from a tour with Leonard Nimoy; and Dr. Carol Queen, The Center for Sex & Culture’s executive director and Staff Sexologist at Good Vibrations. They welcome artists, donors, models, or other volunteers wishing to become involved with Nude Aid to get in touch by emailing or calling 415-255-1155.
